Holly Camarda, MSCP, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor

Holly Camarda is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a strong passion for supporting children and families through compassionate, developmentally informed therapy. She earned her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Carlow University, where she developed a deep appreciation for early development, learning, and the unique needs of young children and their caregivers. Holly went on to complete her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Chatham University, where she refined her clinical skills and therapeutic approach.

During her graduate training, Holly worked at the Cyert Center for Early Education at Carnegie Mellon University, gaining valuable experience supporting children and families in an educational setting. This role allowed her to bridge the worlds of education and mental health, strengthening her understanding of how emotional well-being, learning, and family systems intersect.

Holly began her professional counseling career at the Sprout Center for Emotional Growth and Development, where she focused on helping children navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Her work there reinforced her belief in the power of play, connection, and relationship-based therapy to help children grow, heal, and thrive.

Currently, Holly serves as the Lead Therapist at UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics in Wexford, where she provides counseling services to children and families within an integrated pediatric care setting. In this role, she collaborates closely with medical providers to support the whole child—emotionally, socially, and developmentally.

Holly is deeply committed to helping children and families build resilience, strengthen relationships, and develop the tools they need to grow with confidence. She brings warmth, creativity, and genuine care into her work, creating a safe and supportive environment where children feel understood and families feel empowered.
